Item/Subject Resolve, Supporting the ""Circle of Caring" Social Media Campaign
Responsible Department: Public Health & Community Services
Commentary: This resolve will support the efforts of the Community Health Leadership Board to
combat the disease of addiction in our community and support of the "Circle of Caring" social media
campaign. As part of the community outreach efforts to raise awareness of the disease of addiction, the
Community of St. Josephs Healthcare working through its partners on the Community Health Leadership
board, developed the "Circle of Caring" social media challenge. In addition to raising awareness, the
"Circle of Caring" social media challenge offers opportunities to donate money towards the efforts
underway to reduce the impact of the disease of addiction. All money raised will be administered by the
Community Health Leadership Board in its efforts to show support for those who are suffering from this
terrible disease, neighbors, friends and loved ones. This item has been discussed on numerous
occasions by the City Council.
