Conlow, City Manager, Executing Amendment to Lease with General Services Administration - Bangor International Airport Responsible Department: Legal Commentary: This order will ratify a lease with the General Services Administration at the Bangor international Airport. On June 6, 2008 the City of Bangor leased space to the General Services Administration (GSA) at Bangor International Airport for airport related operations. On January 11, 2013 the City became aware that the General Services Administration would like to renew the lease which expired on January 14, 2013. Pending negotiations of the terms and conditions of a new lease the GSA has requested that the Lease be amended to extend the term for one year. Because the lease expired on January 14, 2013 the City Manager executed an amendment to the Lease extending the term for a period of one year under the same terms and conditions pending negotiation for a new lease. This Resolve, if approved, will ratify the City Manager's action of executing the amendment to lease Department Head Manager's Comments: City Manager Associated Information: Budget Approval: Legal Approval: Introduced for Passage First Reading Referral Finance Director Page _ of _ City Solicitor Assigned to Councior Gallant CITY OF BANGOR 13-063 JANUARY 28, 2013 (TITLE.)
