Responsible Department: Planning Division Commentary: The applicant, Eagle Crest, LLC., is requesting a zone change for a portion of a parcel of land (1 acre) located at 996 State Street (Tax Map R71-031) from a Government and Institutional Service District to an Urban Residence Two District. The property, previously a floral shop and garden center, was zoned institutional in the early 1980`s to accommodate a medical office. The office use never grew as anticipated and the building was used for dwelling units and day acre. If approved, the Urban Residence Two District will allow the building to have up to four dwelling units (apartments) which will make the existing use conforming. s Tana L. Emery Dept. Said portion of parcel of land containing approximately 1 acre and being more particularly Indicated on the map attached hereto and made a part hereof.
