Member Mallory Cook was excused. A. 1. & 2. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chair Tim Surrette and the pledge of allegiance followed. B. Adjustments to the Agenda: E. c. 2. A. Article 1: To see what sum the school administrative unit will be authorized to expend for Regular Instruction for the Fiscal Year 2026-2027. Recommend $27,891,339 Motion: Sprague Second: Luciano Vote: 6-0 Article 2: To see what sum the school administrative unit will be authorized to expend for Special Education for the Fiscal Year 2026-2027. Recommend $12,851,576 Motion: Luciano Second: Brydon Vote: 6-0 Article 3: To see what sum the school administrative unit will be authorized to expend for Other Instruction for the Fiscal Year 2026-2027. Motion: Brydon Second: Sprague Vote: 6-0 Article 13: To see if(the school administrative unit) will raise $17,842.73 to be used for the Bangor School Department's Vocational Education assessment. The assessment is for the UTC Adult Education budget which totals $195,815.00 of which $60,239.00 is supported by sending districts. Motion: Luciano Second: Brydon Vote: 6-0 D. 2. a. Communication Director Ray Phinney provided an update on the Mentoring Program. b. Superintendent Robinson provided a district update to the committee. c. The 2026-2027 School Committee Meeting Schedule was provided. d. Superintendent Robinson reported the following reassignment for the 25-26 school year: Eva Wagner from Art Teacher at Bangor High School to (.6) Art Teacher at Fruit Street School. e. To Abraham Lincoln School from Family Dollar, school supplies, hats and mittens to support students, having a total dollar value of$500. To William S. Cohen School from Pam Hart Goggins, a food donation for the food pantry, having a total dollar value of$150. To William S. Member Brydon reported from the recent Community of Belonging Advisory Committee meeting. The Committee is planning to do a report out at the end of the school year. Member Speed reported some recent happenings at UTC including Skills USA competition which included 4 placing students from Bangor School Department. F. 3. Student Member Meghna Vijay provided an update from Bangor High School. H. Member Speed gave congratulations to the middle school jazz bands students and teachers for their recent performances. Chair Surrette also congratulated the middle school band students and teachers. Member Brydon thanked the Bangor School Department Administrators for the recent opportunities to tour and experience the individual Bangor Schools. Minutes, Regular Meeting, March 25, 2026 6� I. 1.
