Members of the police department, either assigned to the patrol division or assigned to the Maine
Drug Enforcement Agency, were involved in an investigation that led to the seizure of $1,557 in
currency and one firearm.

Forfeiture
Be it Ordered by the City Council of the City of Bangor that, the City Manager be authorized to accept
$1,557.00 in funds and 1 firearm, as result of a State Criminal Forfeiture. The firearm will remain stored in
the department's secured property room. The money will be deposited in the police department state
forfeiture account.
