Authorizing the City Manager to Execute a Subcontract with Maine Mental Health Connection's Together Place
Peer Run Recovery Center to Receive Up to $50,000 from the State of Maine Overdose Response Pilot Grant
Summary
This Order will authorize the City Manager to execute a subcontract with Maine Mental Health
Connection's Together Place Peer Run Recovery Center for the purpose of employing a Recovery
Coach to support the project.
The Together Place will receive up to $50,000 from the state of Maine-funded Overdose Response
Pilot grant to provide recovery coaching services for people served under the grant. Staff from the
Public Health & Community Services Department will provide technical assistance, support, and
monitoring.
This is the seventh year of this project. The agreement would end on December 31, 2026.

Be it Ordered by the City Council of the City of Bangor that, the City Manager is authorized to execute a
subcontract with Maine Mental Health Connection's Together Place Peer Run Recovery Center in the amount
of up to $50,000 from the state of Maine-funded Overdose Response Pilot grant to employ a recovery coach
to support the project.
