Military Airport Program (MAP) is a targeted Federal Aviation Administration grant program designed to assist former military airfields converted to public Airport use with infrastructure investments that enhance capacity, reduce congestion, and modernize facilities. MAP grants may be used for projects not typically eligible for AIP funding, including fuel farms, hangars, utility systems, access roads, surface parking facilities, and cargo buildings. Applications are due January 12, 2026. This item was reviewed and recommended for approval at the Business and Economic Development Committee meeting on December 15, 2025.
