E. Code.
(1) General Provisions.
a. Fees shall be increased to match the Consumer Price Index(CPI-U)on July 1 of
each year,unless set by the State or otherwise indicated below.
b. Any work started without the benefit of a permit may be issued a stop work
order.Additionally,an applicant is required to pay a double permit fee before
any permit is issued for work that has already begun.

b.
The type of construction factor shall be determined in accordance with the following table,which,instead of
being increased in accordance with subsection E�1)above,shall be updated whenever a new Building
Validation Data table is published by the International Code Council to match said table:
