Authorizing the City Manager to Execute Partnership Agreements with Bangor and Brewer School
Departments to Provide School Based Tobacco Treatment as Part of the Maine Prevention Network Grant
Summary
This Order will authorize the City Manager to execute a partnership agreement on behalf of the City
of Bangor with the Brewer School Department and the Bangor School Department to provide
school-based tobacco treatment for students in these school districts. This includes education,
promotional materials, technical support, and more.
The partnership agreements will begin on September 1, 2025 and end on June 30, 2026. This item
was reviewed and recommended for approval at the Government Operations Committee meeting on
September 3, 2025.
