Vice Chair Tim Surrette, Members Marwa Hassanien, and Imke Schessler-Jandreau were excused. A. 1. & 2. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chair Sara Luciano and the pledge of allegiance followed. B, Adjustments to the Agenda: D. 2. d. Report of Leave of Absence Motion: Sprague Second: Brydon Vote: 4-0 C. Public Comments: No Public Comments D. 2. a. Superintendent Robinson provided a district update to the committee. b. Superintendent Robinson reported the following reassignments for the school year 2025-2026. Tamera Scharer from Special Education (SC) Teacher at 14t�' Street School to Special Education (SC) Teacher at Vine Street School. Felancy Grant from Special Education, Project Transition Teacher at Bangor High School to Extended Age of Eligibility Teacher at Bangor High School. AnnMarie Roberts from Special Education (SC) Teacher at Mary Snow School to Special Education(SC) Teacher at William S. Cohen School. c. Superintendent Robinson reported the following resignations for the school year 2025- 2026. Erika Wing School Nurse Fruit/Abe Lincoln/14th St Sarah Defilipp Math/Science Teacher James F. Doughty School Sarah Defilipp B Girls Soccer Coach James F. Doughty School Sarah Defilipp A Girls Softball Coach James F. Superintendent Robinson reported the following Leave of Absence for school year 2025-2026. Tiffany Albee Grade 4 Teacher Fairmount School E. 1. a. 1. Recommendation to approve the Minutes of the June 25, 2025 Regular School Committee Meeting. Motion: Brydon Second: Sprague Vote: 4-0 Minutes, Regular Meeting, July 16, 2025 2- b. 1. Recommendation to approve the May 2025 Financials. Motion: Brydon Second: Okere Vote: 4-0 c. 1. a. Superintendent Robinson recommended the following teacher nominations for the 2025-2026 school year, with a one-year Probationary Contract. Kelsey Hilton Grade 6 Teacher James F. Doughty School Katherine Copeland Science Teacher William S. Cohen School Julianna Hodson Grade 5 Teacher Mary Snow School Scott Talcove Special Education Teacher Mary Snow School Sarah Michaud Special Education Teacher 14t�' Street School Joshua Martin School Counselor 14t�' Street School Motion: Brydon Second: Sprague Vote: 4-0 2. Superintendent Robinson recommended the following Administrator nominations for the 2025-2026 school year. Stephen Riitano Assistant Principal William S. Cohen School Erin Ireland Principal Abraham Lincoln School Motion: Okere Second: Brydon Vote: 4-0 3, Superintendent Robinson recommended the following extra-duty assignments: Kendra Perry Governance Committee District Caitlin Haley B Girls Soccer Coach James F. Doughty School Motion: Okere Second: Brydon Vote: 4-0 d. Recommendation to approve the following donations: To William S. Cohen School from Ms. Meghan Charette, a cash donation to purchase a portable scoreboard for middle school field hockey and other athletic events, having a dollar value of$500. To William S. Cohen School from Beth and Art Kotredes, a cash donation to support students, having a dollar value of$200. To William S. Cohen School from the Willey Family/Wiley Law Offices, a cash donation to support all students at the school dance, having a total dollar value of $1,500. Motion: Brydon Second: Okere Vote: 4-0 E. 2. a. 1. Recommendation to approve the first reading of the following revised policy: 1. Revised Policy JLCD—Administering Medication to Students in School Motion: Brydon Second: Sprague Vote: 4-0 Minutes, Regular Meeting, July 16, 2025 �• H. Member Sprague congratulated all new hires. I. 1. Important dates were reviewed by Chair Sara Luciano. J. Recommended to move to Executive Session for the purpose of evaluation of the Superintendent 1 M.R.S.A. § 405(6)(A) at 7:17 p.m.. Motion: Sprague Second: Luciano Vote: 4-0 Recommended to end the Executive Session and table approval of the Superintendents Contract at 8:58 p.m. Motion: Brydon Second: Okere Vote: 4-0 K.
