Climate Action Update &Application to Apply for Community Action Grant Funding in the Amount of$75,000 Anja Collette, City Planner, provided an overview of the grant through the Community Resilience Partnership with the State for the purpose of having an energy audit done on certain City buildings and purchase bicycle rack infrastructure outside of the downtown area. Councilor Schaefer made a motion to recommend to full Council,seconded by Councilor Fish, all in favor. The Planner also provided an update related to a climate related grant application by the Bangor Area Comprehensive Transportation System that would benefit the region, as well as the tandem mobility bike share, and the energy efficient block grant. She reviewed the memo provided in the packet. 2. Assistant City Manager Updates Assistant City Manager Courtney O'Donnell provided an update on the following: 1. Public Restrooms—all have been retrofitted to be ADA compliant. 2. Website—originally going to launch the end of this month. Now looking at mid-November just to make sure everything is as comprehensive, up to date and clean as possible. 3. Community Connector micro-mobility policy, aka bike rack policy, will be implemented regarding use of the racks, what's allowed on the bus for safety reasons, and how to use them.
