WORKSHOP MEETING

School Committee Members Present: Chair Sara Luciano, Vice Chair Tim Surrette, Imke Schessler-Jandreau,
Marwa Hassanien, Shelly Okere, Ben Sprague. Katie Brydon was excused
A. 1. & 2. The workshop was called to order at 7:00 p.m. by Chair Sara Luciano and the pledge of
allegiance followed.
B. Adjustments to the Agenda:
No Adjustments to the Agenda.
C. Public Comments:
No Public Comments.
D. 1. a. New policy BBAB— School Committee Self Evaluation was reviewed and discussed.
2. Policy JICJ—Cell Phone Policy was reviewed and discussed.
3. The 25-26 Governance Calendar was reviewed.
4. Regional MSBA Meeting and School Board Chair Training were discussed
5. Topics for future workshops were developed to include:
+� Status of the Mentoring Program
• East/West divide/inconsistency in Bangor School District
+� Public use of school facilities
E. 1. Important dates were reviewed by Chair Sara Luciano.
