PUBLIC COMMENT Wayne Mallar thanked the City Clerk for her efficiency in preparing the signatures for
the people running for office. He also had an opportunity to speak with the Police Chief
before the meeting and was able to resolve an issue he would have had to bring to the
City Counci�
Sandy Mclntosh spoke regarding the Maine Woods Development off Essex,Lancaster
and East Broadway. She said there is a wind tunnel caused by the removal of trees
which has taken off the shingles on many roofs on East Broadway and the noise from
tlze Interstate and the construction has been intolerable. She said the dirtfrom the
construction is causing health problems for the residents. She asked why someone
didn't help the residents.
Scott Pardy talk about the overdose prevention centers.
Kelly Hachey spoke regarding the Maine Woods Development and in particular the poo[
of water on the property that breeds mosquitos. She wants something done to test for
mosquito borne diseases. She said the municipaliry is responsible for testing.
Tyler Shanahan spoke regarding the response that Scott Pardy received frorrc MRC in
reference to the Hampden facility.
Chris Nile,President oJAFSCME, asked that the City Council consider granting them
the same benefits that were given to non-employees.
