Art. VI. Sec. 3. Nominations for Elective Officers to be Made by Petition. The nomination of all candidates for elective office provided by this Charter shall be by petition. The petition of a candidate for Councilor or for member of the School Committee shall be signed by not less than 100 nor more than 150 qualified voters of the City_T"^ ^���^"^� ^F ��;�' n���At�t��e�e�«�n^^�n In no case may a voter sign more than one petition for any one candidate. Additions are underlined; deletions r}�������k► Summary: Currently, Article VI, Sec. 3 of the Bangor City Charter states that the number of petitions a voter can sign for any candidate for a municipal office cannot exceed the number of candidates that can be elected for that office. This change will eliminate this provision, allowing voters to sign any number of candidate petitions.
