Summary:
Currently, Article VI, Sec. 3 of the Bangor City Charter states that the number of petitions a
voter can sign for any candidate for a municipal office cannot exceed the number of candidates
that can be elected for that office. This change will eliminate this provision, allowing voters to
sign any number of candidate petitions.
