Chair Chernesky called the meeting to order at 7:00 P.M.
New Business:
� Certificate of Appropriateness — 100 Broadwav — Map-Lot 048-174 — Broadwav
Historic District —Applicant/Owner: John Bapst Memorial Hiqh School -Approval
requested for a Certificate of Appropriateness for the replacement of windows. The
property is located at Map-Lot 048-174, within the area designated as "Nistoric Districts -
Broadway Nistoric District" on file in the office of the City Clerk.
Chair Chernesky introduced the agenda item.
Applicant Bill Meyer, John Bapst Memorial High School, presented to the podium and gave an overview
of the application.
Consultant Mike Pullen gave an overview of his written report. Applicant Meyer confirmed that there will
not be screens in the windows, that the new window casings will be the same size as those existing, and
that existing trim casings will remain.
Chair Chernesky asked the Commission for any questions or comments. Vice Chair Riordan asked
about the locations of the windows to be replaced — applicant Meyer confirmed that they are not all on
the same side of the building and noted where each is located.

Chair Chernesky opened the public comments —there were none. Public comments closed.
Alternate Member Weitkamp mentioned that only concern was the trim casing, which was answered by
the applicant already.
Vice Chair Riordan moved to approve the Certificate of Appropriateness for 100 Broadway, Map-Lot
048-174, in the Broadway Historic District. Seconded by Member King. Roll call vote conducted —all in
favor, none opposed. Motion passed.
Applicant Meyer asked if would need to return to Commission for future window replacements —Chair
Chernesky and Planning Officer Anja Collette confirmed this.
