SPECIAL MEETING OF JUNE 22, 2023 7:00 P.M.

MEETING MINUTES

Vice Chair King called the meeting to order at 7:07 P.M.
New Business:
1. Desiqn Review— 26 Front Street — Map-Lot 043-034— Banqor Center Revitalization
Area —Applicant/Owner: Northland General Contractor/Fred M. Forslev/Seadoq
Ventures, Inc. -Approval requested for Design Review to replace the exterior deck,
railing, ramp and stairs facing the road. The property is located at Map-Lot 043-034, in
the Bangor Center Revitalization Area.
Planning Analyst Anja Collette confirmed that quorum of three Commission members would be sufficient
for Design Review approval.
Applicant representative, Jon Jabar, presented to the podium. Detailed plans for replacement of exterior
deck, railing, ramp, and stairs, on the road-facing side of the building.
Member Quin read the comments/questions from consultant Mike Pullen's memo. In response, Jabar
provided physical samples of chosen railing and decking to Commission members, confirmed that there
will be no exposed wood and that proposed materials match what is already in use on the rear
(waterfront) side of the building.
Vice Chair King asked the Commission for further questions/comments —there were none.
Vice Chair King asked the public for questions/comments. Member of the public, Joseph Pickering,
commented that he thought it was a good project. Public comments closed.
Commissioner Chernesky moved to approve the Design Review for 26 Front Street — Map-Lot
043-034, in the Bangor Center Revitalization Area, Applicant/Owner Northland General
Contractor/Fred M. Forsley/Seadog Ventures, Inc. Commissioner Quin seconded.All in favor upon
