Rebuild �gine #2 (Fire Depar�tment) Chief Foley explained purpose of request to rebuild the body of enginP #2. The mr�tor has already been rebuilt and preventive work has also been done on the pinnp. E�r�xgency Purchase of SocLitun Bisulfite (WWTP) Brad Moore of the WWTP explained that this is an �nergency purchase due to an error in estimzting when the ch�m.icals would be needed. 'I'he chc-�r�icals are used to dechlorinate the effluent, which is chlorinat.ed during the treatment process. Varbal quotes were tak�n and the rec�ndation is to the law bidder W. H. Extension of Contract with Rc�ss Labs for nutritional products (City Nursing Facility) • Pellegrino presented request of Nursing Facility Administrator to e,xtend the contract with Rc�ss Iaboratories, Columbus, QH for one year for the purchase of nutritional products. M. Frankel questioned if this had gon�e • to bid, and if not why not. Pellegrino responded that this may be the second year of multi year contract frcan a full bid a year ago, but he expected the Nursing Facility Ac�mirListrator to be in attendance to present her request. Pellegrino and Ziegelaar explained. that the building houses Telford Aviation. That the roof has not been worked on since City took possession in 1968. Existing roof will be replaced with a rubber m�nbrane, EPDM material which is mr�re elastic than other ma.terial c�nly used.. Roof has a ten year warranty. Alternate #1 is not being awarded. at this time. It is for replacement of gutters, and decision has not been ma.de about the condition of the gutters. R. Stone questioned whether the unit cost for treated liunber and decking could push the final cost of the law bidder's w�rk beyond that of the next law bidder? R. Stone requested. that award be made subject to verification of warranty tenns be-tw�n law and next law bidder, and that unit cost of law bidder for ltmiber and decking is negotiable. J.
