2. Contract Equipment for Ice Storm Cleanup Efforts
Dave Pellegrino updated the Committee on the cleanup efforts after the ice storms.
Included in the information was a list of all equipment rented. All the equipment was
rented with an operator at the rates noted. The costs associated with the cleanup will be
eligible for Federal Emergency Management Agency(FEMA}funding(75%) and Maine
Emergency Management Agency(MEMA)funding(15%).
3. Resolve 98-94 Making an Appropriation of Funds to Enable the Fire Department to
Commence Inter-Facility Transportation Services Effective March l, 1998.
The Committee reviewed the proposed budget for the period from March 1 to June 30,
1998 and recommended approval subject to Council approval for expanding the service
and with direction to staffto develop appropriate accounting systems to track the costs
and revenues of the program.
