1. 1Q8 Seventh.S.tr.eet To consider a request on a variance appeal from the
�Roy and Mary MacGregor Code Enforcement Office's denial of Building
Permit application CB96367 to construct a garage at
108 Seventh Street, Bangor. The denial was based
on the following: Any lot fronting on two or more
, streets must have a front yard on any and all such
streets (Ch. VIII, Art. 3, Sec. 2). Wherever a side
yard is adjacent to a street, the regulations f�r front
yard setback shall apply to the side yard (ch. VIII.
Art. 3, Sec. 2). The minimum set back requ;.rement
is 20 feet where 17 feet is proposed.

occupation with one non-resident employee at 94�
Ohio Street, Bangor. The denial was based on the
following: "a home occupation may employ one
person outside the family where the home
occupation is located on a"major street." A "major
arterial street" is defined as "[g]enerally, a high��-ay
of regional significance with average annual dail�
traffic in excess of 10,000 vehicles and containing
• more than two lanes in at least some sections.
Specifically, the following streets are to be
considered major arterial streets in Bangor:
Broadway, Hammond Street, Hogan Road, Main
Street, Odlin Road, State Street, Stillwater Avenue,
. and Union Street." Since Ohio Street is not a major
street, a home occupation with a non-resident
. employee is not permitted.

3. 436�tate_Stteet To consider a request on an administrative appeal
Norman & Susan Kominsky of the Code Enforcement Office's decision that
N. Laurence Willey, Jr. there is no contract zone violation at 436 Sta.te
Lorna Willey State Street, Bangor. The appellants allege Dr.
McGill violated his contract zone agreemeni by
employing a second doctor. The Code Enforcement
' Office's decision that there is no violation was
based on its interpretation of the contract zone
agreement, which states that a professional office
may be maintained on the property, "provided such
use is conducted by residents living on the premises
� and has no more than four staff ineinbers on the site
at any one time in addition to said residents." The
public is welcome to attend. Any questions
