The center tangent of the right-of-way has been laid cut fifty (50) feet wide measuring at right angles to the above described centerline and the first and third tangents are laid out fifty-five and seventy-six hundredths (55.76) feet wide measur- ing at right angles to the centerline. A fifty (50) foot radius tura-around right-of-way has been laid out at the easterly end using the last described centerline point as a center of radius. GRADE Beginning at a point formed by the intersection of the center- line of the new street and the easterly sideline of Ohio Street, said point being station 0 + 00, the City Engineer established a grade for the new street as follows: Station Elevation 0 + 0 149.20' 0 + 50 150.62 1 + 0 152.61 1 + 50 155.15 2 + 0 158.20 2 + 50 161.80 3 + 0 164.53 3 + 50 166.60 4 + 0 167.94 4 + 50 168.56 5 + 0 168.60 7 + 62 166.8o The above elevations refer to and are established from City of Bangor datum. No person or persons appeared at the time and place set for the meeting to claim damages or to object to the laying out. In this respect, no damages are recommended for the laying out and grade as described above. There remains certain corrective work to be performed on the roadway so that it may meet City standards, including the widening of the roadway by an additional six (6) feet and the application of a tar and gravel surface over the entire roadway. However, inasmuch as a bond has been posted by the Sib -divider to cover the cost of said corrective work, it is recommended that the street as described above be accepted as a public way to be named and known as Pinker Lane. An accurate plan accompanies this report. Respectfully submitted. John T. eeley City Engineer JTF:l Attachment Page 3 40-R Introduced by Councilor Higgins, Feb. 10, 1904 ri CITY of BANGOR (T IILE.)
