TEAT WHEREAS, on October 14, 1963, City Council passed Order 243-Q. authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract with Metcalf & Eddy for engineering services in connection with the investigation of sewage interceptor and treatment, and WHEREAS, the Housing and Home Finance Agency has requested a clarification of one section of that agreement, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED that the City Manager be and is hereby authorized to enter into an amendment to that contract, a copy of which is on file with the City Clerk. Note: This is a technical amendment which breaks down the estimate for engineering services. Coupal, Jr. City Manager Gentlemen: With reference to the request of Housing and Home Finance Agency, dated October 25, 1963, the Agreement for Engineering Services in Connection with the Investigation of Sewage Interception and Treatment, made the 18t1n. day of October 1963, between the City of Bangor, Maine and Metcalf k Eddy, Inc., is hereby amended by addition of the following at the bottom of page 3 of said agreement: "$20,000 of the said $23,000 is to be paid for engineering services not required in connection with field work of measuring and sampling of sewage flows."
