Authorizing. the City Engineer to _ay Ont and Construct a new street in Industrial Park. By 9" Qty Cepwail of Oft of Banger: ORDERED, IMT, WHEREAS, a petition has been received from the Sanborn Express Company that a roadway be constructed for a distance of four hundred (400) feet south of Perry Road along their westerly property line, and, WHEREAS, a right of way has previously been dedicated in this area for future street use, now therefore, be it ORDERED, that the City Engineer, acting for and on behalf of the municipal officers according to law, proceed to lay out by metes and bounds and establish a grade for the presently dedicated right of way for a distance of four hundred (4DOI feet south of Perry Road, and the City Engineer is further ORDERED, to proceed to give written notice of such intention of said municipal officers by posting such notices for seven (i) days in two public places m the City of Bangor and In the vicinity of said right of way, and then be It further ORDERED, that the City Engineer make a written return of such proceedings containing bounds and ad -measurements of said right of way and the damages allowed to the person or persons for the land taken, all in accordance with the laws of the State of Maine, said report to be made a part of this order, AND BE IT FURTHER ORDERED, that the City Engineer is directed to make the necessary field surveys and to prepare plans and west estimates, together with a list of proposed assessments, for the c nstruomon of said roadway and to report his findings to the City Council for further action. This order presently applies to the property owned by Sadye F. Coney, as listed above, which is to be used for the relocation of the Bangor Drug Company, It is recommended that the levying of the above listed assessments be deferred until soon time as the property is dev- eloped, provided that present property owners furnish to the City of Bangor, upon completion of the construction, a recordable in- strument acknowledging their responsibility to pay said assess- ment, and further provided that the property owners limit the sale price of their property to any interested developer referred to them by the City of Bangor to a maximum price of twenty-five hundred dollars ($2,500.00) per acre.
