To: The Municipal Officers
Reference is made to City Council Order 212-R9 passed
September 28, 1964, directing the City Engineer to prepare pians
and cost estimates for the construction of Perry Road from Ste
Present terminus north to Odlin Hoed, together with a list of
passible assessments.
Surveys have been completed and plans prepared which will
provide for the construction to extend from the present completed
terminus located two hundred seventy (270) feet west of Thatcher
Street to Cilia Road, being a distance of seven thousand sixty-
three (7,063) feet. The new roadway will consist of a 24 foot
travel way having a tar surface on a 24 inch gravel base with
3 foot shoulders on each side and including the necessary grading,
seeding and culvert installation, A portion of the roadway has
been partially constructed near the Thatcher Street and and the
actual expenditures to date are fifteen thousand nine hundred
ninety-nine dollars and thirty-five cents ($15,999.35). The es-
timated coat for completion of the roadway is sixty-five thousand
dollars ($65,000.00), making a total estimated coat for the entire
roadway of eighty thousand nine hundred ninety-nine dollars and
thirty-five cents ($80,999.35). Of this amount, 506, or forty
thousand four hundred ninety-nine dollars and sixty-seven cents
(840,499.67), is assessable against the adjacent properties which
are benefited. A breakdown of the proposed assessments are as
follows:
