The ell hes been demolished and the main building has been secured. I would recommend that this order for condemnation be indefinitely postponed. He has also assured me that the main building will be well secured. I would recommend that this order for condemnation be tabled for 30 days. It is my opinion that the ell on the rear of this building is beyond repair and should be removed. However, I feel that the main building which is of brick construction should be secured. Mr. Rice has been notified of the conditions of this building and the last notice was sent to him on May 25, 1964. To date, we have not received a reply from this notice. I, therefore, recommend that the main portion of this building be secured with the ell removed and the matter be referred to the City Council for action.
