IN RB: Change from local Business Zone to General Business Zone: a parcel of land
situated on the generally westerly side of Broadway in the City of Bangor.
Sirs:
Please be advised that the City Planning Board has held a Public Hearing
and given careful consideration to the above matter.
It is the opinion of the Planning Board that a change to General Business
would be seriously harmful and have a deteriorating effect on the immediately
surrounding residential properties in the Bangor Garden development. Phe
Planning Board also felt that the existing Inca! Business Zone serves well a
a buffer between the General Business Zone on the east side of Broadway and the
Bangor Garden Homes on the west.
She Planning Board respectfully recommends that the application be
dented.
