When assigned to the Traffic Division, it is reconmanded that the i cumbent be assigned to the corresponding step in tha second higher range. At the present time, the City of Bangor had found it possible to operate many of its departments o a 371 -hour basic work week. The ranged of pay which are recommended for the classifications concerned are based on standard 40 -hour work weak. If in the future, municipal officials deem it necessary to return to a 40 -Mur work week, it is recommended that no adjustment in pay be made as the present policy is omen to the benefit of the employees.
