Beit urahi 6y fly City Conseil oltlu City afBanyor,= Nlouw That Chapter II, Article 9 be amended by repealing Secticn 4 and replacing it with a new Section 4 as follows: Sec. 4 Insurance Advisory Committee. There is hereby authorized and established n Insurance Advisory Committee to consist of four people who shall be appointed by the City Council and who shall be insurance agents in the City of Bangor. 4.1 Members Appointed. Of those first appointed to the Insurance Advisory Committee, one person shall be appointed to serve until December 31, 1965, one person shall be appointed to serve until December 31, 1966, one person shall be appointed to serve until December 31, 1967, and one person shall be appointed to serve until December 31, 1968. Thereafter members shall be appointed annually to serve terms of four years and until successors are duly appointed. Any vacancy created in the Committee shall be filled by appointment by the City Council for the remainder of the term. 4.2 Duties of the Committee. The duties of the Insurance Advisory Committee shall be to hold regular meetings and to advise the City Council and the City Manager with respect to the administration of the City's insurance program. 4.3 Chairman of the Advisory Committee. The Chairman of the Insurance Advisory Committee shall be chosen at the first meeting of the Committee each year by vote of the Committee. 4.4 Ex -officio Members. Any other insurance agent who may be awarded any part of the City's insurance program shall serve as �+ 6010 n ex -officio membe of the Insurance Advisory Committee during the term W of insurance coverage by his agency. and be it further amended by adding a new section 5 as follows: Sec. 5. Ordinance Repealed.
