Towing of Cars When Blocking Driveways or Hindering Snow Removal

THAT Chapter III, Article 6, Section 3 of the Revised Ordinances of the
City of Bangor, be repealed in its entirety and replaced with the following
Section 3:
Sec. 3 Removal of Cars Blocking Driveways or Hindering Snow Removal.
No vehicle shall at any time be parked or allowed to remain in or
upon any street, public way, public square, or public parking area
within the City of Bangor so as to Interfere with or hinder snow
removal. Any officer of the Bangor Police Department As hereby
authorized to remove and tow away or have removed or towed away
by any commercial towing service,any vehicle so parked and to
have said vehicle placed in a suitable parking place, all at the
expanse of the owner of such vehicle.
No vehicle shall be so parked as to interfere with or hinder the
ingress or egress to and from a driveway in the City of Bangor.
Any officer of the Bangor Police Department Is hereby authorized
to remove and tow away or have removed and towed away by any
commercial towing service, any vehicle so parked as to interfere
with or hinder the ingress or egress to and from any driveway in
the City of Bangor and to have said vehicle placed in a suitable
parking place at the expense of the owner of the vehicle.
