HomeMy WebLinkAbout1965-07-26 157-S ORDINANCE157-s from Park and Institutional to Industrial Park Be ft ordained 6y the City CoaneY of Ns City ofBanyor, aafelleas: THAT the zone boundary lines as established by the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Bangor on Ternary 7, 1954, as amended, be hereby further amended as follows: Change from "Park and Institutional" to "Industrial Park" a portion of land on the east side of Farm Road being more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the northeasterly side line of Farts Road said point being four hundred ninety-seven and ninety-three hundredths (497.93) feet north from the northwesterly side line of Main Street; thence at right angles to said side line of Farm Road on a bearing of N 420-57'-33" E for a distance of two hundred sixty-four and sixty-four hundredths (264.64) feet to the southwesterly right of way line of Interstate Highway I-395; thence N 490-10'-07" W along said Interstate right of way line for a distance of fifty- five and eighty-nine hundredths (55.89) feet to a granite monument; thence continuing along said Interstate right of Way line on a bearing of N 250-10'-42" W for a distance of one hundred and one and ninety-eight hundredths (101.98) feet to a granite monument; thence continuing o said right of way line on a bearing of N 360-29'18" W for a distance of thirty and no hundredths (30.00) feet to a point, said point being on the southeasterly line of property owned by the New England Pipe and Supply Company; thence S 420-57'-33" W for a distance of three hundred six and no hundredths (306.00) feet to the north- easterly side line of Farm Road; thence S 470-02'-27" E along the northeasterly side line of Farm Road for a distance of one hundred eighty and no hundredths (180.00).; feet to the point of beginning. The above described parcel contains 1.16 acres; being a par[ of the same premises conveyed to the Town of Bangor by the Bangor Bank by a warranty deed, dated September 25, 1827 and recorded in Penobscot Registry of Deeds in Volume 17, Page 120. Meaning the area bounded on the south by the City Hospital property, o the west by Farm Road, on the north by New England Pipe and Supply, and on the east by Interstate 395.
