That Section ] of Chapter ], Article 3 of the Rev=sad Ordinances of the City
tell Bangor be repealed and replaced with the following:
Section y. Removal of Wires and Interior Wires.
Sec. 7.1 Removal of Wires If any person or corporation main-
taining or using wires above ground shall fail to comply with such provisions of
Sec. 3 and Sec. 9 of this Article 3 as refer to the National Electrical Code and the
National Electrical Safety Code, withinthe time limit prodded in said Article 3,
such person or corporation shall, when required by the City Council, take down
and remove, at their own expense, all poles used as the support of such wires
and may place such wires beneath the ground.
Sec:: 7.2 Interior Wires in Fire District. Whenever the laying of
interior wires in metal construction in the fire district shall be deemed necessary
by the City Council, all persons and corporations upon notification shall Install
said wires in some form of construction approved by the National Board of Fire
Underwriters.
