Chapter VII, Al r.Clo a (new) CATV installation Bea anlahW W W City Cownett of W City of Banger, os fihAnva, THAT Chapter VII of the revised City Ordinances, as eamnded, be further amended by adding at the end thereof a new article vumbered 13: CHAPTER VII Article 13 Sec. 1 City Manager Authorized to Advertise for Hide The City Manager is authorized for and in behalf of the City Council 1n accordance with the Maine Revised Statutes Annotated, Title 30, Section 21-51H, to publicly advertise for bide for contract to place and maintain Commonalty Antanme Television Systems and appurtenances along public ways in the City of Bangor. Sec. 2 Notice to Bidders The notice to bidders shall be posted in two public places in the City and Shall be advertised at least once in the Bangor Daily News, Said publication to be not less than Seven (7) days, n e than twenty-one (21) days prior to the date when bids are mrequested. The award of said contract will be made to the highest and best bidder however, the City Council retains the right to reject any and all bide. Sec. 3 Award The City Manager shall report the bid results to the City Council, which will determine the highest and best bidder. Sec. 4 Systems not Defects in the Public Nays. Systems located in accordance with this ordinance are not defects i the public ways.
