Subject Petition
Attached is a petition setting forth a request for
a traffic signal at the corner of Meet Broadway and
Cedar Street.
This was presented to me by Mr. Prentiss Godfrey
and Mrs. Robert C. Russell.
You will probably want to consider bringing this
to the attention of the Public Safety Committee of
the City Council.

We, the undersigned residents of West Broadway between Basosnd
and Onion Streets, do hereby request that a Caution Light be installed
at the soccer of Cedar Street and West Broadway.
Cara constantly fail to atop at Cedar Street before entering West
Broadway, and them is constant speeding in this area by young hot
adders who are playing their favorite game of .chicken,.
Them are appmsisately forty-five children madding on West Broad-
way, with an additional twenty-five children residing in the area, who
am endangered by these practices. One child wee seriously injured at
West Broadway by a speeding car not long ago.

consideration.
