Mr. John Barry
Chairman, Bangor City Council
Bangor, Mains
Dear W. Barry:
I have been instructed by the School Committee to inform she Council that
the School Department is in a position to make additional building rentals
to Russon College, the Eastern Maine Vocational Technical Institute and
others which will yield $6500 - $8000 additional revenue above the $8350
anticipated in the budget. However, to provide the requited custodial and
maintenance services for Nese rentals will increase our expenditures far
beyond the $7990 originally estimated for this purposes
If the Council wishes to approve the acquisition of this additional Income,
the School Committee requests authorization of offsetting supplemental
amounts in both expenditure and revenue, budgets. Early necessary
action Se ne ary
in order that prospective tenants ecan umake their plana for next fall
