The Planning Board deferred action at Mae request of attorneys for both the college and the have owners to delay consideration until after a meeting of the College Trustees on May 10. After such meeting, and in cooperation of all parties, a meet- ing of the Planning Board will be held for this request. Rosebud, Planning Director RBB.IECT: City Council Order 105-T Termination of Grandview Avenue Gentlemen Please be advised that the Planning Board met on May 33, 1966 to consider the termination of Grandview Avenue 6001 from Broadway. There was considerable study and discussion including the nepreentatim by the residents of Grandview Avenue. Because there are so many problems includil& a lack of information relative to development on which the Planning Board can basa its recommendation to the Council, the Board voted to: TABLE the issue -with the Chairman of the Planning Board to schedule a joint meeting of all parties involved including: City Council Land Owners Musson College Representatives Hutson College Architects and Consultants "701" Traffic and Land Use Consultants Planning Board Members City Manager Planning and Engineering Departments FOR THE PURPOSE --o£ evolving a unified approach to the problem of adequate access to the Musson College development that will: 1. Adequately se the College for its entire development potential z. Provide for g000d orderly development around the campus 3. Effect the best interrelationship of the College and the City for many future years 4. Result in a better control of traffic in the area The Honorable City Council -i- May 24, 1966 It is the feeling of the Planning Board that for good development of the College and the proper controlanddevelopment of the City, in that area, several access points are vital and will need to be Marked out by all parties involved before action is taken.
