Hope Avenue, excluding thelatest 600' square General Business arms, sold to Atwood Motor and Sullivan Ford Sales, being more particularly described as follows: To be changed to "General Business zone-: Beginning at a point being a north east corner of Mt. Hope and Hogan Road. Thence in an easterly direction for a distance of 793' along the north aide line of Mt. Hope Avenue to a point. This point being the southwest comer of Mahaney land. Thence in a northerly direction along acn line between Mabaney And .Dyer for a distance of 31601 more or leas to a point being the northwest corner of the Mahaney land. The Board gave very careful consideration to the zoning request and its effect on the Comprehensive Plana, as we 11 as what the results of that Compre- bensive Plan might be. The Board considered the size of the proposed change, me nearness of the new Zoning Ordinance (part of the 17011), the lack of firm control in our existing ordinance, and the direction of development in the area. They also indicated their willingness in the pasta we it as the future to consider any specific proposals prior to the 1701" project completion. The Planning Board voted to deny the request.
