THAT the attached petition from Briggs, Inc, requesting the extension of Curtis Street for a distance of 150 feet easterly from its present terminus, as well as the surfacing of the existing 200 feet, be and hereby is accepted, and, be It further ORDERED, that the City Engineer is directed to make the necessary surveys, plane, and coat estimates for said improvements and to report his findings to the City Council for further action. This letter is 1n response to our conversation of July 10, Please consider this our request to the Bangor City Council to ex=end and improve Curtis Street one hundred -fifty Feet (1501) further from its intersection with Hildreth Street. It has been extended and improved two hundred feet (2001) some time ago except for the final wearing surface on this two hundred feet. The additional one hundred -fifty feet will make a total of three hundred -fifty feet (3501) Curtis Street will then be improved from Hildreth Street. We would appreciate your presenting this to the City Council and we shall also appreciate you consulting with our contractor, M. D. Hardy, Inc., so that this street improvement will correspond with work progreber ss1967e plan to occupy this new building on or aboutIf w are expected to share in this street extention and i - provemente please let us know to what extent and the basis for any assessment.
