And teat the said City Engineer met at the time and place of meeting specified in the notices and proceeded to lay out. as follows: 3 Beginning at a point on the easterly line of Center Street, said point being 221.0 feet north from the northerly line of Somerset Street; thence deflecting 82041100" to the east for a distance of 134,33 feet to a point; thence deflecting to the right 4044'30" for a distance of 165.76 feet to the westerly line of French Street; thence north along said westerly line of French Street for a distance of 21.02 feet to a point; thence deflecting 9207'30" to the west for a distance of 167.41 feet to a point; thence deflecting to the left 4044'30" for a distance of 132.51 feet to the easterly line of Center Street; thence south along said easterly line of Center Street for a distance of 21.17 feet to the point of beginning, Meaning to describe a right of way which is 21 feet wide extending from Center Street to French Street. The land for said right of any consists of the originally dedicated 20 foot wide right of way ]Sown as Center Street Avenue widened to a width of 21 feet by the acquisition of a 1 -foot strip along the northerly side from the following properties: Owner Area Acquired Recommended Damages Katherine M. Hebek 77.5 sq.ft. 25.00 PRD, Vol. 1687, page 306 The City Engineer proceeded to lay out a center line grade for said roadway as follows: Beginning at the easterly line of Center Street at elevation 108.33; thence ascending on a grade of 4.68,8 for a distance of 47.5 feet to elevation 110.55; thence ascending on a 70 foot vertical curve having em external of 0.92 feet to elevation 117.49; thence ascending on a grade of 15,16% for a distance of 12.5 feet to elevation 119.39; thence ascending on a 50 foot vertical curve having an external of 0.59 feet to elevation 124.59; thence ascending on a 60 foot vertical curve having an external of 0.21 feet to elevatlon 127.14; thence ascending on a grade of 2.85,8 for a distance of 60 feet more or less to the westerly line of French Street at elevation 128.86. No person or persona appeared at the time and place set for the hearing. In subsequent telephone conversations with Mrs. Constantine and Mr. Powell, both spoke in favor of the proposed laying out. It is, therefore, recommended that the above-described right of way be laid out and accepted as a public say to be named and known as Center Street Avenue and that the official map be changed accordingly.
