Dear Jay: Re: Harold Cowan
Mr. Cowan has contacted me concerning a notice
with reference to some property purportedly owned
by him and located on Boyd Street in Bangor. This
s written merely to advise you that the property in
question was transferred to Mr. George Chapman who
may be contacted at Modern Cleansers & Dyers some
time early this year. The conveyance was made prior
to April 1, and I assume that the difficulty arises
merely by reason or Mr. Chopman:s failure to record.
The fact remains, nevertheless, that he is the owner
of these premises. --^
Thank you.
Yours very truly,

June 27, 1967
I have been unsuccessful in V attempts to have the building at
19 Boyd Street removed. On February 9, 1967, a permit Sum issued to
demolish this building that had been previously damaged by fire. I
have made several calls and have sent a notice to the onnor, pr. George
Chapter, of 1322 peace Street, regarding the removal of this structure
but to date, very little progress has been made.
Thin in a dilapidated structure and is definitely a blight to the
neighborhood. I Ovula no recommend that this building be Condemned and
be referred to the city Council for action.
Respectfully submitted,
