JR9001TIQ, F rinsUmy.scg _Houang.1. n By City Comsi of We City of Deem RWDLVED, THAT WHFAE45 the City Council of the City of Bangor is cognizant of the large numbers of substandard dwellings existing within the City, and WHEREAS, the said City Council i of the need for better housing for the elderly and those with low income, ande WHEREAS, said City Council is aware of the need far housing of a contin- uing military uussion in the Bangor area, aMl WHERBA.S, SAID City Council is move of the housing needs of institutions of higher education existing and proposed for the Banger ones, NOW, MMITORE, the City Council of the City of Bangor locks forward to the use of the cuirently existing military housing to meet the above local needs and for other local purposes, upon their being vacated at the Closing Of Dow A.F.B. The City Council ia willing to accept the challenge presented and to preserve the integrity of the local real gasket.
