THAT WHEREAS, the following off-street sliding areas have been estab-
lished by the Recreation Depsmosent:
1. Mmucipol Golf Coaxes - The hill on the Seoollfl fairway.
2. Hayford's Field - Hill in back of Union Street swimming pool.
3. So®it Park - Stand Pipe on Ohio Street:
4. Corner of Fountain and Congress Streets - Pokey property.
5. Falvey Street - Between Falvey Street and Interstate 95.
6. Essex Street Sliding Area - In back of let Methodist Church.
7. Grotto Cascade Park.
g. Cassidy Field - boosted at corner of Hancock Street and Sprees Street.
and WREHEAS, the Recreation Department will provide Any maintenance
necessary in order to insure safe eliding in the above mentioned areae
BE IT, THEGEFOAE, GRIERED that all on -street sliding areas presently
sponsored by the City be discontinued.

ON STREET SLIDING
Notice is hereby given that the Publle Safety Committee of the
Bongos City Council shell hold a public hearing on the 23rd day of
January 1967 at 7:00 P.M. at the City Hall Auditorium for the purpose
of hearing proponents and opponents of the proposal to abandon the
policy of blocking off Norfolk St, aM Hayward St. for eliding.
