Introduced and filedby Councilmen IN .. , . ...Pt•.., I... .a CITY OF BANGOR, MAINE Engineering Department November 28, 1966 To: Me Municipal Officers Reference is made to City Council Order 76-T, passed February 28, 1966, accepting a petition from N. H. Bragg & Sons for the installation of a 12 inch storm sewer on Perry Road in lieu of the originally proposed 8 inch storm drain. The larger size pipe was required to handle storm water from the Bragg property The original Installation of 8 inch pipe was estimated to cost 12,000. The substitution of the 12 inch pipe was esti- mated to cost an additional $1,200, and N, H. Bragg & Sons agreed to pay 75 percent of this overrun, or $900. This work has since been completed and the actual additional cost was $873 for the Installation of the 12 Inch pipe in lieu of the originally proposed 8 inch pipe, the actual assessment to N, R. Bragg & Sons would therefore be 75 percent of this amount, or $654,75. It 1s therefore recommended that assessment be levied against N. H. Bragg & Sons as noted above.
