ORDERED,
THAT the Trustees of Baso Park be and are hereby authorized to
execute the attached Lease Agreement and deliver same to the State of Maine
Publicity Bureau

T R I S I N D E N T E R E. made this 5th day of December, 1966,
N_ I T N E S S E T R_, That Merle F. Goff, Jay E. Alley, Jahn C. Field,
all of Bangor, County of Penobscot, State of Heine, acting in their capacities
as Trustees of Baas Park, ea called, do heresy lease, demise and let nmto
Maine Publicity Bureau, a duly authorized agency of the State of Maina, the
following described premises:
A certain building located in Bass Park, s called, and situate
at thee of Button and Main Streets in said Bangor and known
as the 'Information Centers.
TO HUD for the term of ten (10) yearn from the first day of
January, I967, yielding and paying therefor the rent of One Dollar ($1.00)
per annum.
The said Leasee does covenant to quit and deliver up the pror....es
hereby demised to the Lessors or their attorney, agents, successors or assigns,
peaceably and quietly at the end of the term aforesaid (unless such term shall
be extended as hereinafter provided), in as good order and condition (reasonable
use and Waring thereof, or inevitable accident, excepted) as the same are or
may be put into by the said Lessors, and to pay all water rates, heating, lighting,
and other charges payable in respect to said demised premises: and not make or
suffer any waste thereof and that it will net assign or underlet the premises or
any part thereof without the consent of the Lessors in writing on the back of
this lease. And the Lessors may enter to view and make improvements and to expel
the Lessee if it, its successors orassigns . shall make or suffer any strip or
waste thereof, or shall fall to quit and su:render the promisee to the Lessors at
the and of said term In canner aforesaid, or shall violate any of the covenants
in this lease by said Lessee to be performed. Provided, however, that the lessee,
its successors or assigns, at its own expense may make such reasonable alterations
and improvements in the demised premises as may be oecea ary or desirable is the
course of its use thereof.
And the Lessee for itself, its successors and assigns, further
covenants that if at any time during the tern of this Instrument the building
Is not in use by the Lessee, the Lessors scall have the right to grant temporary
use of said building r.o any religious, charitable or benecolast institution for
purposes of campaign drives or any other charitable use.
And the Lessors for themselves, their successors and assigns,
hereby covenant that the Lessee performing aid observing the several severance
hereinbefore contained may peaceably hold and enjoy the said premises during
the said term or any renewal thereof without any interruption by the Lessors,
their successors or assigns, or any person lawfully claiming through them; and
that they will from time to time and at all Lima keep sit external and
structural parte of said premises in goad repair.
And the Lessors for themselves, the it successors and assigns,
further covenant that the Lessee, its successors and assigns, shall have the
right to renew this lease for the further term of ten (10) years upon giving
written notice to that effect to the Lessors, Meir successors and assigns,
not fees than thirty (30) days prior to the expiration of the term hereby
granted, upon the same came and conditions herein set forth.

year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred end sixty-six.
