McClay By the City loft City of Bangor BBBDLVED, WHEREAS, the City of Bangor has committed itself to make available to its employees the benefits of the State Retirement System, and WHEREAS, the State Retirement System provides that employees in excess of 70 years of age must be retired unless special provisions are made, and WHEREAS, Daniel L. McClay, Administrative Assistant in the Public Works Department of the City of Bangor, Maine is in excess of 70 years of age and wishes to avafl himself of the opportunities afforded by the State Retirement Plan, therefore be it RESOLVED, that in view of Mr. McClay's many years of faithful and conscientious service to the City of Bangor, the request of Mr. McClay that he be not retired at age 70 be and hereby is granted, and that the Trustees of the State Retirement System be advised that Mr. McClay is being retained. 33-U RECEIVED EE SOL VE 1966 GEC -1 011:31 CITY CLERK'S OFFICE 'II'�nrq.rypp°. As Mr. MCClgv is in excellent physical condition and has a very goad knowledge of the workings of the department, we feel we are justified in reccesseending Mr. MCClayes request be granted and that he be allowed to continue with hie regular work in the department.
