BANGOR, a body corporate, located At Bangor, County of Penobscot, State of Mein,
In mmideµr�atlon of One Dollar ($1.00) sod other goad atd valuable considerations,
paid by BRRTON H. UPJOHN and ALLEN B. SIKES, JR., both of Kalamazoo, County
of Kalamazoo, State of Michigan, me tenants in common, the receipt vhereof is hereby
acknowledged, does hereby remise, release, sell and convey, am forever quit -claim
unto the said B6ton H. Upjohn and Allen B. Sikes, Jr., their heirs and assigns for-
ever, the following described real estate, located in the City of Bang", County of
Penobscot, State of (Mine, via:
Beginning at a point on the northerly right of way line of Perry Road; said
point being three hundred andseventy-nine and ane tenth (379.1) feat, more or
leu, easterly of the Intersection of said right of way line with the areth
asterly right of way line of Webster Avenue. Said point also being on the
northerly Lim of land as devised to the Grace Methodist Church under the Last
Will and Testament of Evelyn P. Graffae; thence northeasterly at right antes
to the above-mentioned property line a distance of three hundred and forty-
five (345) feet, sure or lees, to the southerly right of way line of Interstate
1-395; theme easterly along said right of ray line a distance of two hundred
and thirty-three (233) feet, more r less, to the southeasterly right of may
line of Webster Avenue, as established by the State of Maine by its layout and
Notice of Taking dated November 13, 1957, and recorded in Penobscot Registry of
Rade, Volume 1603, page 334; thence southeasterly along the southeasterly
right of way line of Webster Avenue a distance of two hundred and thirty-eight
(238) feet, more or lees, to the northerly line of the Grace Methodist Church;
theme southeasterly along said property line a distance of two hundred and
eighteen and two tenths (218.2) feet, more r less, to the paint of beginning.
Excepting and Reservists from this conveyance, however, a drainage easement along
the "Btarty aide of the abve-described property as taken by the State of
Maim in the above-mentioned Layout and Notice of taking.
The above-described parcel contains am and forty-six one -hundredths (1.46) acres,
more r leas, and is a partial of the premises conveyed to the City of Bonger
by Justus L. Hersey by deed dated June 1, 1912, and recorded In said Registry
in Values $32, Page 123.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above-described premises, with all the privileges and
appurtenances thereunto belonging, to the said B4rton H. Upjohn and Allan B.
Sikes, Jr., their heirs and aaefgne forever; and the City of Bang" does cwemnt
With the said Blrton H. Npjohi and Allen B. Sikes, Jr., their heirs and assigns,
that It will warrant and farrier defend the premises to the said Grantees, their
hairs and aeslgns forever, against the lawful claims and demands of all persona
claiming by, through or under the Grantor hereto.
