8 of the Revised City Ordinance, as amended, be f nether amended as follows:
By the addition of Item (6) to sec. 2
Sec. 2 (8)
In an approved Urban Renewal project area the following building
requiremeare shall apply:
(a) Cross floor area shall not exceed one and one half times
the grass lot area; however for Residential a building
coverage shall not exceed 30. of the total losarea.
(b) For Residential use the minimum lot area requited per
dwelling unit should be as follows:
Efficiency Unit 600 sq.ft.
one -bedroom Unit 800 sq.ft.
Two-bedroom Unit 1000 sq.ft.
Plus an additional 200 sq.ft, for each bedroom
in excess of two per dwelling units.
(c) In computing requirements for mixed nae parcels, each
use shall be computed separately.

RZ: Nnending Zoning Ordinance, Council Order 86-W
Gentlemen:
Please be advised that the Planning Board held a Public Hearing
February 27, 1969 on the above ordinance change.
The Board gave very careful consideration to the proposed changes
the existing ordinance as well as the requirements for future development.
After on siderable discussion, the Planning Board voted to approve
Order 86-W if amended as follows:
Sec. 2 (B) (a)
Commercial Use Buildings Cross Floor Area shall not exceed
r
four (4) times the grass lot area; for Residential Use
Buildings the Gross Floor Areashall not exceed two (2)
times the grass tot area, and building coverage shall not
exceed 357. of the total lot area.
Parking space within the structure will not be counted
toward gross floor area.
The Board feels that the controls in the existing ordinance are
unworkable it relation to these items and that the proposed changes are
consistent with good planning.
