The American Legion for Valentine School, City canal property,
located on Union Street, be and is hereby approved and that the
City Treasurer be and is hereby authorized to execute and deliver
a Purchase and Sale Agreement in the form attached for the said
premises to the said James W. Williams Post No. 12, The American
Legion accordingly.

County, State of Mine, hereinafter called the "Seller", and JAMES W. MIJAMs
POST No. 12, TSB AHBRICAN 163100, a corporation duly established and located in
Bangor, County of Penobscot, State of Naim, hereinafter called the "Fnochsaero.

TNS the said Seller hereby agrees to sell and the said Purchaser
hereby agrees to purclease the Valentine School, so-called, located in said Bangor,
and the land on which it in situated, all described as follows:
Beginning at a point formed by the -easterly right-
of•wsy Jim of Union Street and the northerly right -Of -

said promises aMiL pay to the Seller of said premises the sum of Five Thousand

Said Purchaser agrees that it will meet all building, housing and
sanitary codes of the City of Owner and comply with the Zoning lava of said City.
Upon such rehabilitation and renovation of said property, the Said Seller does
hereby agree to deliver a Quit -Claim Med of said premises to the Purchaser or
to the American legion Holding Company, Inc., or to such other romime as the
Purchaser may by proper vote so designers. The Purchaser shall be entitled to
possession of said promisee on the signing of this Agreement.
In the event the Purchaser she 11 fail to comply with the terms
hereof, the Seller shall be released from all obligations in law or equity to
money mid property and shall be entitled to the immediate possession thereof
and the Purchaser shall forfeit all rights under this Agreement and all moneys
theretofore paid hereunder, including that held S se"w, shall be considered
as mot and compensation for the use and occupancy of said premises and be
retained by said Seller. Said Purchaser does further agree that upon its default
it will leave Said promisee in as good condition as the Same were before the
Purchaser entered said preadam.
