as established by the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Bangor on January 7, 1954, as
emended, be hereby further amended as follows:
To change from residential B made to General Business certain parcels of
land being more particularly described as follows:
Beginning on the southwest right-of-way line of Larkin Street at a point
approximately 172 feet northwest from the northwesterly right-of-way line of Main
Street, said point being an the southerly line of land ocw or formerly awned by
Gerald M. Rush as conveyed by a deed from Eva M. Elsmore dated August 22, 1958, and
recorded in Penobscot Registry of Deeds, Volume 1639, Page 85;
Thence southwesterly along the southerly line of said Rush property for a
distance of 60 feet more or leas to a point at the southwest comer,
thence toe northwesterly direction along the westerly line of said property
for a distance of 55 feet more or less to the southerly line of the Larkin Street
School lot, a conveyed to the City of Bangor by a deed from George Savage dated
October 13, 1851, and recorded in Penobscot Registry of Deeds. Volume 218, Page
513, by deed from Lebarity M. Tapley dated July 14, 1906 and recorded in Penobscot
Registry Of Deeds, Volume 765, Page 302, by deed from Inner E. Hewes dated
July 14. 1906, and recorded in Penobscot Registry of Deeds, Volume 765, Page 303,
and by deed Exam galls L. Lawrence dated August 13, 1906, and recorded in Penobscot
Registry of Deeds, Volume 765, Page 305;
thence southwesterly along the southerly line of said school lot for a distance
of 100 feet more or less to the southeast comer;
thence northwest along the westerly line of said school lot for a distance
of 118.5 feet more or less to the northwesterly corner of said school lot;
thence northeasterly along the north line of said acnool lot for a distance
of 50 feet more or less to a point;
thence southeast for a distance of 18.3 feet more or less t0 a point;
thence northeast along said northerly line for a distance of 110 feet more or
less to the southwesterly right -of -war line of Larkin Street;
thence southeast along said right-of-way line for a distance of 155 feet more
or less to the point of beginning
