—THAT Chapter IV, Article 1, Section 13 shall be amendod to read as follows:
Sec.. 13 License weluired £or public Vehicles. No person, firm or corporation
shall operate, or cause to be
operated, any vehicle (except taxicabs and concern anal contract carriers
soder the control of the Public Utilities Commission) for the transport-
ation of property for hire from place to place within the City of Bangor,
unless licenses therefor by w n lice,se under the signature of the
City Clerk, and payment to theCity Clerk of annual license fee of fNtkd
ten dollars for each vehicle. Such licenses shall continue in force
until the first Monday in May next, following unless sooner revakN by
vote of the City Council.
