To: The Municipal Officers
Pursuant to Council Order 134-W, passed April 14, 1969,
wherein a petition was
accepted from Sylvia Rolsky for the ex-
tension
-tension of the Fountain Street sewer in a northerly direction
for a distance of 125 feet, the following report is submitted:
The proposed installation would consist of 125 feet of
8 -inch Cl. 2400 asbestos -cement pipe. It is anticipated that
approximately 50% of the excavation will be ledge, and the
total estimated cost of the installation isestimated t0 be
$1600. Of this amount, 75%, or $1200, maybe assessed against
the property benefited. Since the property on the westerly side
of Fountain Street is already connected to the Montgomery Street
sewer, it would, therefore, not benefit by the installation.
The total assessment would be chargeable to the property of
Sylvia Rolsky. Nrs. Rolsky has indicated that she is in favor
of the installation.
It is, therefore, recommended that the sewer be installed
as soon as possible and that the assessment bea sed against
Sylvia Rolsky. A plan showing the proposed installation is
attached.
Respectfully submitted,
